Lane snapper hang around the same kinds of areas as grouper, so when we go out fishing in those spots, we get a nice mix of great fish. The lane snapper are some of the prettiest to come out of the water. They are brilliantly striped with a pinkish orange and bright yellow.

Our friends Kevin and Kathleen own the original painting. They've caught a few fish themselves.
