Inspired by the stacks of snook in the passes between the barrier islands of Southwest Florida, this painting is made up of prints from two different fish. Paintings like this one, where I paint the fish repeatedly, are the most challenging of anything I do. It has to be just right every time.

This represents the spawning behavior. One large female is here, with her school of admirers all following closely. It's great to fish at this time, with non-stop action if you're at the right place at the right tide.
