Blackfin tuna gather on the sea mounts of the Florida Keys and also in the Gulf of Mexico. They are excellent table fare and great fighters. This fish was caught by my daughter, Kinsey, down in the Keys. It weighed nearly 30 pounds -- a BIG one. We took the meat for making sushi and grilling, and kept the head for gyotaku.
