4 of Spadefish

The purple paper I used in the original "4 of Spadefish" is a banana paper full of interesting inclusions. These are highlighted nicely in prints from this painting.

The fish is known as an Atlantic spadefish, striped angelfish and chirivita chiva. We have a population of these in Shell Creek but this one came from offshore where it was hovering over a 65-foot deep reef.

You can order prints in four sizes: 5" X 7", 8" X 10", 11"X14", and signed, numbered, limited edition 13" X 19". You can special order larger sizes on canvas or on art paper. Send an email to snookpig@yahoo.com to order!
