Snook

The fish in "Foursome" remind me of June in Redfish Pass, which divides Captiva Island from North Captiva Island. It is a wonderful place to fish. Large fish stack up in great numbers, attracting a flotilla of boats that drift the outgoing tide.

A snook is also called common snook, robalo, lineside or sea pike. My grandfather called them soapfish because that's how they taste when you cook them skin-on. My advice to you: get the skin off and fry it!

You can order prints in four sizes: 5" X 7", 8" X 10", 11"X14", and signed, numbered, limited edition 13" X 19". You can special order larger sizes on canvas or on art paper. Send an email to snookpig@yahoo.com to order!
