Rockfish

Several types of grouper are known as "rockfish." When a grouper takes your bait, he’s likely to run for a hole in the rocks. We’ve lost a few that way.

The original gyotaku of this fish is on brown mango-leaf paper that reproduces very well on the prints.

This is a red grouper, also known as mero, cherna de vivero and of course, rockfish.
